I am Kat and have lived in the Heart of the Appalachian Mountains for 10+ yrs. I love the people, the accent, the mountains, the culture, the beauty & the abundant wildlife here. This is a flowering bush that is in bloom around our neighborhood. I've seen white and this beautiful pink so far. If this isn't hibiscus, please let me know!
I now know this is known as ROSE OF SHARON around here and I have been given two - and this year they are growing and maybe they may even produce a flower or two! One is white and the other pink,
