I am Kat and have lived in the Heart of the Appalachian Mountains for 10+ yrs. I love the people, the accent, the mountains, the culture, the beauty & the abundant wildlife here. This photo blog is my view of life. Much of my day is spent at the level of doorknobs, as I am disabled & use a power wheelchair. This is a neighbor's cat, Jimmie Johnson, who likes to hang out in our back yard, near the bird feeders. He is best friends with all of our pets, both dogs and the one cat who has indoor/outdoor priviledges

At our old house we used to have neighborhood cats who hung out in pour yard. I always loved to have them around.
